This vintage original 1969 Johnny Pot Seed poster was issued by the Houston Blacklight & Poster Distributing Company of 102 San Jacinto Street in Houston, Texas. This is the full size vintage original poster measuring 35” x 22.5” with the date 1969 printed in the lower left hand corner not to be confused the much more common and much later reproductions. The repos are smaller, not dated 1969 and without the credit to the Houston Blacklight & Poster Distributing Company printed in the lower margin. The image of Johnny Pot Seed is based on the American folk hero Johnny Apple Seed but instead of apples this Johnny spreading marijuana seeds.
