This is a vintage original one sheet movie poster for the 1971 Academy Award wining crime action thriller film The French Connection which stared Gene Hackman, Roy Scheider and others. This movie was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won five including Best Picture, Best Actor for Hackman and Best Director for William Friedkin and was a box office smash for Twentieth Century Fox and one of the top grossing films of 1971. This is the folded “Style A” one sheet poster for this movie.
This is a vintage original poster is lightly used with a pinhole on each corner and two pinholes on the upper left hand corner. The tip of the upper left hand corner is a bit creased and there is a small spot near the lower left hand corner. The poster has no tape, minimal darkening to the paper and light handling wear.. Overall condition is very good.
