This is a vintage original three sheet movie poster for the 1952 release of the Republic Pictures serial Dick Tracy vs. Phantom Empire. This serial was based on the Dick Tracy comic strip created by Chester Gould and first released in 1941 with the original title Dick Tracy vs. Crime Inc. This serial was comprised of 15 chapters or installments and starred Ralph Byrd as Dick Tracy, Ralph Morgan and Jan Wiley among others and was directed by William Witney and John English.
This vintage original poster is rather well used with some chips, tears, creasing and small areas of separation on the fold lines in place. This three sheet poster was issued in two sheets which are joined on verso by tape. The colors remain strong and the poster still displays pretty well. Overall condition is good.
