This vintage original and rare poster was created by the artist Glenn Grohe for the Aluminum Company of America in 1943. G.I.s on a battlefield fire their weapons at an unseen enemy as one soldier looks up to find the sky above him filled with American warplanes flying in attack formation toward the enemy with text that reads:

Here They Come, Brother

This poster is one of several created by Glenn Grohe for Alcoa during WWII to help motivate workers on the home front engaged in the manufacture of essential wartime materiel. A 1943 copyright by the Aluminum Company of America appears just below the illustration and Grohe’s signature appears in print just above on the right side.

This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and was probably never used. The poster shows just the slightest handling wear and has a single small speck in the white field at the bottom of the poster. Overall condition is excellent.
