This striking Polish travel poster for the beautiful city of Krakow was created in the mid 1930s by Stefan Norblin. Towers of the city’s iconic Wawel Castle fortress complex are stylized against an orange sky as if seen from the Vistula River with the spires of St. Mary’s Basilica making an appearance in the distance. The lower margin indicates Printed In Poland – Zakt. Graf. E.i Dr. Kozianskich. Warszawa. This same poster design was also issued in a larger size.

This vintage original poster has been professionally backed to linen with some expert touch up as needed including repair to a short tear on the right edge and repair to some bumping and small abrasions on the edges. Interested buyers can contact us for a photo of the poster prior to linen backed.  The colors are strong, the poster displays beautifully and overall condition is very good.
