This poster was issued in 1981 by Mexicana, the flagship national airline of Mexico up until creasing operations in 2010. This poster illustrates the primary aircraft types used by Mexicana Airlines from the Lincoln Standard of 1921 up to the Douglas DC-10-15 used in 1981 with the advertising tagline “A flying success for 60 years.”
This poster is an unrestored vintage original. The poster has some clear cello tape on each of the four corners and another piece of a few inches along the top edge. There is also a small half inch tear on the top edge. The poster is otherwise in very good condition with nice color and light handling wear.
