This vintage original poster is one of the very few issued during WWII that features the image of an African American. This poster features the photographic image of an African American baby next to a War Savings Bond stamp album with the title For Baby’s Future BUY WAR BONDS. This poster is one of a few different similar posters issued by the United States Treasury Department that featured images of adorable babies to help sell War Bonds.
This vintage original poster was issued folded and does not appear to have ever been used. The poster is in excellent condition with just light handling wear and modest toning from age.
