This vintage original poster was issued to promote a 1965 exhibit of Pop Art and Op Art at the prominent New York City Sidney Janis Gallery. The exhibit titled Pop & Op featured many of the most prominent contributors to these movements with their names listed on the poster including Albers, Anuszkiewicz, Arman, Max Bill, Jim Dine, Fahlstrom, Ellsworth Kelley, Roy Lichtenstein, Marisol, Oldenburg, Riley, Rosenquist, Samaras, Segal, Vasarely, Andy Warhol and Tom Wesselmann. This poster for his 1965 exhibit appears shortly after the term “Op Art” was coined in an Time magazine article written by the art critic Donald Judd.

This vintage original poster was issued folded and designed for mailing with an address panel printed on the verso. The poster has an address and postmark printed on the verso and light handling wear. Overall condition is very good.  This poster ships folded.
