This is a vintage original folded one sheet poster for the 1973 first American release of the animated adult science fiction art movie Fantastic Planet. This was a French language film directed by René Laloux with animation done at the Jiří Trnka Studio in Prague. The movie won the Special Prize at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival and was based on the 1957 novel Oms en série by French writer Stefan Wul. Distribution of the film in the United States was handled by Roger Corman's New World Pictures.
This is a lightly used vintage original folded one sheet poster from the movie’s first American release in 1973. This poster is clean with no tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear including some bumping along the right edge. Overall condition is very good.
