This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury to promote the Payroll Savings Plan program to encouraged private employers to allow their employees to purchase war bonds through payroll deduction. The top of the poster is titled Official U.S. Treasury Department War Bond Score Chart and the poster features a cannon firing at a large bullseye target with text that reads:
Let’s hit the bull’s eye! Everybody Every Payday At Least 10% - Shoot Straight With Our Boys Buy U.S. War Bonds
The lower margin is printed 1942 so thus the date. This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes, looks unused and is in excellent near mint condition.
