This vintage original WWII poster was issued to help promote the sale of war bonds in connection with the 4th War Loan. The 4th War Loan bond drive ran in January and February 1944 but the lower margin of the poster is printed with a 1943 date presumably because the poster would have been produced in advance of the actual bond drive. This poster features a large 4th War Loan shield logo and with the slogan “We Bought Extra War Bonds” and “An Official War Message”.
This vintage original poster was issued folded. The poster is clean with no tape or pinholes and shows moderate handling wear including some bumping, short tears and creasing along the left edge toward the bottom. Overall condition is otherwise very good.
