This vintage original WWII poster was issued by the United States Treasury to promote the sale of war bonds in 1943. American Army infantry battle forward as a Sherman tank fires it’s gun at an unseen enemy. The hellish battle scene is backlit by a fiery sky adding emphasis to the tagline They’re fighting harder than ever – are you buying MORE WAR BONDS Than Ever? This poster was created by the artist John Newton Hewitt who is most remembered today as a prolific illustrator of pulp magazine covers.

This poster is folded as issued and shows just slight toning from age and modest handling wear. This poster has a pinhole on each corner.  Overall condition is excellent.
