This vintage original WWII poster features a image of a distraught woman clenching the letter no one wants to receive with the title “…Missing In Action…. Somebody Talked V-Home Are Careful”. The artist Howard Crosby Renwick worked under the pseudonym Hayden Hayden and was prolific as a commercial artist and illustrator from the 1920s to 1940s producing many covers for major magazines as well as advertising illustration for clients such as Coca-Cola, Arrow Shirts, JELL-O and Lucky Strike Cigarettes among others.

This poster is designed to appear like a billboard and has the company name “Outdoor Advertising” printed at the bottom. This vintage original poster is folded as issued and in very good condition overall with a single pinhole on each corner, modest handling wear and light toning from age. This poster ships folded as issued.
