This vintage original Cold War era U.S. Army recruiting poster is not signed but was probably created by the U.S. Army artist Gilbert Gordon Early who created a few similar posters issued in the mid to late 1950s to help promote reenlistment. This poster features the U.S. Army flag and gives a brief history of said flag with text that reads:

Your Army Flag – Officially Adopted In 1956, The Army Flag Symbolizes A Tradition Of National Defense Upheld Since 1775. The Central Design Bears The Original Seal Of The War Office – Now The Dept. Of The Army. Below The Spearhead Are 145 Streamers – Representing Army Campaigns Since The Revolutionary War!  Men “In The Know”…Re-Up Army

This vintage original poster is free of tape and pinholes and shows light handling wear including some slight bumping to the edges in spots. The poster has a very slight almost invisible trace of staining in the margin on the tip of the lower righthand corner and is otherwise clean ,with bright color. Overall condition is very good.
